The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation is the official CSR program of SIXT SE. The so-called DRYING LITTLE TEARS DAY is available to all SIXT employees and enables the SIXT family to support a social project of their choice. This day is available to all SIXT employees once per calendar year.

In June, the People & Culture team spent a day at St Bartholomew's Children's House near Munich, Germany. The children's home cares for about 100 children aged 1 to 10 years as a day care center, kindergarden and after-school care centre and also includes children with special needs.

"We were able to put a big smile on the children's faces with the water games and the beautiful gifts. We also had a big smile on our faces because the children were so happy," says Daniela Mueller, Director Strategic People Consulting.

The SIXT employees took advantage of the summer temperatures to create a wonderful day for the children under the motto "Water Fun". Equipped with good humour, presents and water games, the team spent a lively day at the children's house. But social engagement is not the only good thing about the DRYING LITTLE TEARS Days, because social work with children also improves cooperation and colleagues get to know each other in situations other than in the office. This creates a good team spirit!
