To mark the nationwide Read Aloud Day on 21.11.2025, we once again organized a reading campaign in cooperation with Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. this year. As part of our corporate volunteering program and the Johanniter volunteering project "Leseratten", our colleagues took the opportunity to get involved in several children's facilities and read stories to the children on site. Throughout the day, they visited the Johanniter day nursery "Feenland" in Herrsching, the Johanniter children's home "An der Amper" in Emmering, the Johanniter children's home in Eching and the integrative Johanniter kindergarten "Am Sportplatz" in Neufahrn.  

Reading aloud events like these are an integral part of Johanniter's children's facilities. They create recurring encounters, strengthen educational and participation opportunities and serve to promote language skills, especially among disadvantaged children from socially deprived families or children with a migration background.
