As part of the SIXT CSR program, employees of Sixt SE and SIXT R&D India visited the Nammura Government Primary School in Karnataka and spent a day with the primary school students. The program included a lesson on German history, skill games in mathematics and a presentation on Active Learning by a colleague who himself went to an Indian public school and now works as a Senior Security Engineer at SIXT. 

It wasn't just the children who were delighted with the visit and the time spent together. Our colleagues were also infected by the children's energy and learned a lot about curiosity, creativity and the joy of looking at things with a fresh, unbiased eye. 

SIXT has been supporting the Nammura Government Primary School for several years now, for example by extending buildings and equipping classrooms with televisions, computers, desks and chairs.
