SIXT employees from Berlin visited Ukrainian refugees together with the Easter Bunny at the arrival center at Tegel Airport. An understanding was possible without many words and not only the little ones were happy about the change, but also the helpers on site had a smile on their faces.
Also in Rostock, SIXT employees together with the Easter Bunny visited children who had to flee Ukraine. In addition to colorfully filled Easter nests, the children were delighted to receive fully packed welcome backpacks. In addition to puzzles, blocks, crayons, card games, cookies, small sweets, there was also a cuddly blanket. An all-around successful Easter surprise for the little ones!
It is impressive with what commitment the cooperation of Johanniter, Caritas, the DRK and the Bundeswehr work together. All of them take care of incoming refugees and support them in their first steps in Germany. In addition to the accommodations in the initial reception centers, there are also daycare centers and social services. From here, people travel to private accommodations or reception facilities within Germany.
