As part of a DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day, Antoine Rigal, Senior Executive Manager at SIXT SE, together with his team initiated a garden design project at the children's home of Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. in Dietersheim. The facility has been caring for approximately 50 nursery and after-school children since 2013 and received a valuable enhancement of its outdoor area through the commitment of SIXT employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team constructed garden benches and redesigned the surrounding planting areas. The special highlight was the direct participation of the children themselves: They helped with planting and watering the new flower beds around the seating areas. These created peaceful retreats now offer the children additional opportunities to experience nature and spend time outdoors together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"It was a heartwarming moment when the children themselves helped with the planting. That made our work even more rewarding. The entire team felt we had made a small but meaningful contribution that will truly benefit the children there,\" reports Antoine Rigal about the successful initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
