The room has been completely renovated and now provides a safe environment for the psychotherapeutic care of children living in homes or foster families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Around 450 children in Malta are separated from their biological parents and require professional psychological support. The Children in Need Foundation cares for these children through their Mindful@home program with three psychotherapists. The new therapy room has been designed using a trauma-informed approach and features adaptable elements such as large, soft curtains that allow children to customize the space according to their needs. This promotes a sense of security and comfort during therapy sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A particular advantage: The therapy room is not only available to children in care homes, but also to other children who need therapeutic support.
