Children learn to stick together in an ensemble and rehearse for performances. They are supported in developing social skills and discovering their individual talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In October 2010, Sulamot was launched as a joint program with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Tel Aviv University. Until today, 1,200 children between the ages of 5 and 18 have learned to play in 18 Sulamot Orchestras and a special program for blind children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At two schools in the country, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation has supported the Sulamot program by purchasing several instruments. With the help of the foundation, a total of 120 Muslim and Jewish children play together as part of the Sulamot Orchestra on clarinets, saxophones, double basses and flutes.
