Hospice service "KiJu" in Ortenau

Funkelnde Hilfe. Mauritia Mack of Europa-Park together with glass and jewelry maker Leonardo and the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation supported the 'KiJu' hospice for children and young people in Ortenau, Offenburg, with jewelry from the 2014 summer collection. The bracelet from the collection should help to bring joy into life. Each pearl has a special meaning. A series of projects have already been supported by the charity jewelry collection including the 'University Hospital parents’ home' in Freiburg in 2011, the 'European Meeting House' in Northern Spain in 2012 and the Santa Ana 'Children's hospital' in El Salvador in 2013.

Helena Gareis coordinates the adolescent hospice service "KiJu", she says that oftentimes the youngest are carrying a lot of responsibility. KiJu fights for the well-being of children and wants to improve theri quality of life, through offering activities.

The bracelet of the collectiongives a piece of joy of live. "Darlin's hope III" is all about wishes. Each pearl has a special meaning. The charity jewellery collection already supported the "Parental home of the University Clinic" in Freiburg in 2011, the „Europäische Haus der Begegnung“ in northern Spain in 2012 and the "Santa Ana" children's clinic in El Salvador in 2013."
