New playground equipment for the Wartaweil inclusive school camp

The Wartaweil school camp is an educational and meeting facility for students with and without disabilities. Since 2015, the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation has supported this school hostel on the Ammersee, south of Munich. Approximately 150 children and adolescents between the ages 5 of 16 come here each week to enjoy a day playing together and have a break from everyday school life.

In order to ensure that the facility’s garden is ready for playing and romping this summer, repair work and new equipment is necessary. The Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation was delighted to take on this task to support the project’s sustainability. A bouldering wall was built in the facility’s garden, which will allow the young guests to climb to their heart’s content! In addition, the tepee in the outdoor area was renovated. The next summer can come!
