With the joint support of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation and Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V., the maternity ward and the paediatric department at Malteser International Hospital Umuzike were refurbished. In addition to various purchases such as cots, new floor coverings and missing doors were purchased, leaky windows were replaced and additional lighting was installed.
