Snoezelen Therapy for Children with Disabilities Possible Again

The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS made it possible to repair defective water elements in the Snoezelen room of "Haus bunte Wege" and thus gives children with disabilities back important moments of relaxation. The calming water columns are a central component of the therapeutic work and promote sensory perception as well as the well-being of the young visitors.

The Lebenshilfe-Werk Weimar/Apolda e.V. is committed to the inclusion of people with impairments and disabilities and supports them in their self-determined way of life. The Snoezelen room offers a protected retreat where children can find peace through various sensory experiences and train their perception. The renewed water columns with their gentle movements and soothing light effects create a relaxed atmosphere that is used several times a week for therapeutic purposes. Through the repair, the children can once again benefit from the important sensory experiences that sustainably promote their development and well-being.
