Learning spaces shine in a new coat of paint

As part of a DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day, the Talent & Performance Marketing team at Sixt SE completely redesigned two rooms of the all-day school at Jo-Mihaly-Mittelschule in Neufahrn. In cooperation with Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V., which has been providing all-day care for 31 students from grades 5 and 6 since the 2020/2021 school year, appealing learning and common areas were created through painting work and creative crafting activities with the children.

The redesign creates a motivating learning environment for the middle school students where they can complete their homework and spend their free time. Particularly valuable was the direct involvement of the children in the design process – they were able to contribute their own ideas and actively help out.

"It was truly inspiring to see what we can achieve as a team. Working hand in hand, enjoying the moment, and achieving real results – that's true commitment," reports Linda Fries about the joint action. The DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day enabled Sixt employees to directly contribute to the welfare of children in their region and to experience how teamwork creates concrete improvements for young people.
