A DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day in the service of the Boy Scouts

SIXT employee Amelie Kapp has been a volunteer with the boy scouts in Solln for over 10 years. The globally active youth organization is represented in Munich-Solln with a good 100 children and young people. Volunteers organize weekly meetings, weekend activities and two camps per year. Tasks are divided according to ability and opportunity. After 10 years of leadership, Ms. Kapp has handed over the task and now supports the active leaders when needed.

After the long break due to the Corona Pandemic, during which no face-to-face events could take place, a tent camp with a hygiene concept was finally allowed to take place again in 2021. The children and young people were really looking forward to this. In order for such a tent camp to take place with over 100 people, numerous volunteers were on site. Above all, to ensure the supply of all participants. As part of the DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day, Ms. Kapp helped as a kitchen worker in the camp and prepared the food for all participants every day from morning to evening. Volunteer work is very important to many, as is Ms. Kapp, even if it is often only possible in their free time. She was therefore very grateful that SIXT employees were able to attend the DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day.
