SIXT Team supports seriously ill children through gardening

The SIXT UK Van&Truck team used their DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day to beautify the outdoor facilities of the children's hospice organization CHAS (Children's Hospices Across Scotland). The employees worked together on the gardening and thus created an even more beautiful place of peace and recovery for seriously ill children and their families.

CHAS accompanies families from the moment of a life-changing diagnosis and helps them to live as fulfilled a life as possible despite serious illness. The organization provides support in saying goodbye and coping with grief. Through the practical help of SIXT employees, well-maintained outdoor areas are created where affected families can recover during difficult times.

"The day reminded us that we often achieve the greatest impact not through our work, but through the time we give to others," explains Yvonne Gabler, Managing Director of SIXT UK Van & Truck. The stories of the children and families gave special meaning to every task completed.
