Bright sunshine, excited children's eyes and an invitation to a slumber party: SIXT employees experienced all this on their DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day with eight children aged 5-9 from the Zauberwald child protection center at Hellabrunn Zoo. The ice was quickly broken upon arrival in the magic forest. Together, fruit and vegetable bags, sweets, drinks and handkerchiefs were packed into the backpacks they had brought with them. Then we took the tram to the zoo. Each child was allowed to wish for an animal to visit. The favourites: monkeys, sharks, lions and bat grotto. The latter was both scary and fascinating for some children, but in the end everyone dared to go in and try to touch a flying bat. During the well-deserved lunch break with fries and schnitzel, one of the children explained to us: "I love bananas, that's why I don't eat them. And I hate fries, that's why I eat them up!” and happily shoved more fries into his mouth. Wonderfully carefree children's logic! The highlight after the meal were the monkey masks to color in. Everyone enjoyed the day so much that they all only returned to the magic forest at 5:45 p.m. After the group hug, the invitation to the slumber party the next day was received and the children asked when we would come next time. An all-round successful trip that will be remembered for a long time.
