UK: Christmas visit 2019 to Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool
Annual Christmas visit at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019. Like every year the SIXT UK Office had a Christmas-Wish-Tree with gifts made out for small children and teenage patients with either cancer, as well as spinal, heart and brain conditions. The gifts where given to the young patiens in the Atrium of the Alder Hey Eccellence Space Center. As you can see the UK Team showed up in elves hats and DLT Shirts. The atmosphere was christmasy as Christmas songs played and they sang together while the presenst where given out.
Switzerland: Christmas visit to the Tempelacker day-care centres and the occupational and physiotherapy centres for children and young people in St. Gallen
On Thursday, December 19, some SIXT employees from the Basel headquarters in Switzerland set off loaded with all kinds of Christmas presents. set out on their way loaded with all kinds of Christmas presents. Their destination: the Tempelacker in St. Gallen.
The director Mrs. Steinbeck was touched and grateful: "It was sensational to see the shining eyes of the children." The Christmas initiative was a complete success!
Netherlands: "Post-Christmas action" at Emma Children's Hospital in Antwerp
A special Christmas initiative: On 9 January 2020, eight SIXT employees from the SIXT Benelux countries decorated 45 Christmas trees at Emma Children's Hospital. It is a very large hospital with many departments. With this action the hospital staff was given time so that they could take more care of their little patients. At the end of the day the successful and also exhausting day was comfortably concluded with tea and cookies.
